EXAMINATION PROCESS
BEFORE THE EXAM
The VBLT exams are realized annually at fixed dates (dates are published well in advance). Registration of candidates can take place directly through CEEL or via the VBLT Authorised Test Centres, up to twenty (20) calendar days before the examination date.
DURING THE EXAM
The Candidates are required to attend the examination venue at least fifteen minutes before the actual start time of the examination. They should carry a valid identity document, such as Personal Identity Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Birth Certificate. The exam can start only after the appointed Invigilator has read out the relevant instructions for each part of the exam and, if necessary, has translated them into the native language of the candidates. Each candidate is given a booklet that contains all testing questions, and a separate answer sheet on which the selected answers are provided, since the Candidates are not allowed to mark the booklets.
AFTER THE EXAM
The exam finishes once the invigilator signals the end of the examination time. The candidates are asked to stop writing and to put their pencils down. The booklets and answer sheets are collected, placed in especially designed envelopes and sent to CEEL for marking, which is conducted by experienced linguists. The awarded certificate is issued 4-6 weeks after the exam.
